Christmas Memories and Fun Times!
My sisters and I grew up
in the Air Force, and as such, we lived in scattered
places all over the country. My earliest memories
of tracking Santa are from when we
lived in Idaho, on Mountain Home Air Force Base. We
used to be able to turn on the TV and
track Santa's progress, and we could see how
close he might be getting to our house. And, of
course, what that meant was,
we needed
to get to bed AND be asleep BEFORE he got to our
house or he wouldn't stop. My
sisters and I really thought this was Santa's path,
and it would work. We'd jump in our beds and
somehow manage to go to sleep so Santa could arrive.

Portsmouth NH Homes Holiday Decorating Contest Winners!
The winners of the
Annual Portsmouth Holiday House Decorating Contest
have been announced!! The contest for the best
decorated Portsmouth homes throughout the city has
been running for the last couple of weeks, with the
final judging having been done Monday night, the
17th. The winners were formally announced Wedneday
night on Portsmouth Community Radio, 106.1 FM.

Portsmouth Seacoast December Fun!!
The Christmas season
here in Portsmouth NH is just full of fun events
for kids of all ages! Merchants decorate their
stores, city workers deck out the whole downtown
area and it is just beautiful. And if we have a
little dusting of snow, well that's just like
the icing on the cake!Our downtown Christmas
tree and all the beautiful downtown lights will
be officially turned on this Friday, Nov. 29th,
at 6pm. If you're in the area, make sure to be
downtown at 6pm for these fun festivities!

Southern Maine Seacoast ~ December Holiday Fun!

holidays here in the Seacoast areas of southern
Maine and New Hampshire. We've got all kinds of

Portsmouth NH ~ Citywide Wi-Fi Coming Soon!
Portsmouth New
Hampshire implemented a free wi-fi area
a couple of years or so ago in the downtown
business area. It's gone over so well and the
use of it has grown so much that the City of
Portsmouth will be expanding our free
wi-fi area.
This new expansion will include most areas
of the town, and that is great news!
Terrific news for residents and businesses
alike! And I'd bet our visitors will be loving
having access to free wireless internet while
visiting our lovely seaside town, too!
